Kitschy Vintage Victorian Figurine Japan.
Featured is a Victorian-style design vintage figurine.
Made in Japan.
Status: Discontinued -collectible.
Made from fine china with a colourful and beautifully detailed kitschy, gold accent look of a lady/farmer carrying wheat.
The figurine stands on a decorative square pedestal base.
There is no formal backstamp identification on the underside base but bares a strong resemblance to a “Made In Occupied Japan”
figurine dated between 1945 -1952.
Perfect for English or French country decor and would look lovely on shelving next to a mirror or painting or on top of some stacked books.
Measurements approximately :
H x 16.5cm
W x 8cm at widest points
W x 5 cm pedestal base.
Condition:
Some clean crazing and tip of wheat seems to have a good repair job. There is also a glaze mark on the pink skirt.

Otherwise, in good vintage condition.
There are no chips, cracks or wear to the colours and the figurine is securely attached to the pedestal base.
