Vintage Marble Natural Stone Box Sculpture India.
This vintage 1970s stone box can be used to store tobacco, trinkets, jewellery, or any other small items. It is handcrafted from marble or soapstone and has a fully polished finish. The stone features a distinctive design of long, earthy brown lines and colourful marble veins and swirls, with variations in each section of the stone. The intricately detailed lid of the box features a reticulated and camel pattern. The box is heavy and solid, with a rectangular shape and a fitted hinged lid. There is a sticker on the underside of the base identifying it as being made in India.

Small scratch on top/side of the lid and a ‘fleabite ’/manufacturing mark on the top edge; unnoticeable and ‘visible’ through touch. Otherwise in excellent vintage condition. There is no damage, cracks, repairs or surface wear. The stone is glossy and polished. Both hinges work well and are not damaged.
