Vintage possibly antique porcelain hand-painted Kutani ware display plate.
Made in Japan.
Early 20th Century.
Beautifully handpainted with detailed imagery of a Japanese landscape, nature and a Geisha girl.
Vivid colours of cobalt blue, red, pink and gold accents.
Decorative scalloped edge and gilt.
Made from porcelain with applied overglaze.
The back of the plate has a gold stamp with Kanji Script (maker's mark).
Condition:
There is a small area of glaze wear to the front of the plate (please refer to photos), otherwise, is in remarkably good condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
The plate measures 15.8 cm across and has a gently curved height of 2 cm.
Item has been well researched for accuracy.
