The vintage display cabinet plate by Lord Nelson Pottery is quite a special piece. The company was established in 1880 under the name of Elijah Cotton Ltd. and eventually became known as Lord Nelson Ware. They were known for manufacturing
fine-quality earthenware and pottery. This plate features a reproduction of the famous oil painting on canvas artwork "The Valley Farm" by the English artist John Constable.
Gold trim surrounds the plate and has a gloss finish.
Printed Lord Nelson Pottery and crown identification trademark backstamp with plate information on the back of the plate.
The stamped mark of 8-79 indicates that it was made in August 1979.

Condition:
Small scuff mark on the plate’s surface and clean crazing on both sides. Also some wear to the gold gilt. Please refer to the photos.
Otherwise, in excellent vintage condition.
There are no chips, cracks, repairs or significant wear.
