Vintage Wedgwood Limited Edition Collectible plate.
Whimsical collectible display plate by Wedgwood featuring the artwork of renowned English painter, and artist Mary Vickers.
Titled “Be My Friend” it is the first plate in the “My Memories” series by Vickers, that features the artist’s own special childhood memories in her rural hometown in England.
This particular plate is of Mary (on the right) and her friend and the sincerity found in first-encounter friendships.
Beautifully portrayed, showing the artist’s talent with vibrant colours and precise detail.
Crafted in exclusive Queen’s Ware (perfected cream-coloured English earthenware/porcelain).
Comes with the original box and certificate of authenticity. Wedgwood trademark identification and plate information,
including the Bradex number (assigned by Bradford Exchange a major seller of limited edition collectibles), on the back of the plate.
Plate measurements: 20.5 cm across.

Excellent vintage condition.
Two small manufacturing dots on the back of the plate and an overglaze rough minuscule spot on the rim. All are insignificant and mentioned only for accuracy. The plate has no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing or wear.
To be expected the box is ‘tatty’ with age-related vintage wear.
