Featured is a beautifully nostalgic rare display plate from Grimwades.
As part of the Dicken’s Ware series, it presents the character Lady Dedlock, from the immortal classic Charles Dickens novel “Bleak House”.
Victorian art deco octagon design, full of colour and gold trim gilt.
Lovely to use as intended or would look amazing at any High Tea Party filled with pastries or cakes.

22 cm across with lift.
Condition:
Considering that the plate is well over 90 years old it is in quite a good condition.
There is general vintage wear consisting of crazing on both sides of the plate, some wear to the gold trim/edges and some insignificant manufacturing spots on the
plate‘s underside; all mentioned for accuracy. However, there is no damage, chips, cracks or repairs with the centre motif showing no wear.
Item has been well researched for accuracy.
