Vintage Gravy Boat Creamer J & G Meakin SOL England.
This is a beautiful vintage gravy boat made by J & G Meakin, who are known for producing fine china and earthenware. The gravy boat features a pretty English garden floral band pattern with decorative gold trim. It has a long, round design with a glossy cream finish and a J & G Meakin SOL sunface trademark back stamp printed on the base underside. This lovely vintage tableware is perfect for serving gravy, and would even look pretty as a creamer or a condiment server.

SOL sun face trademark was registered in 1912.
Status: Discontinued -collectible.
Measurements approximately:
L x 12 cm spout to and not including handle.
W x 9 cm top opening and not widest points.
W x 6 cm pedestal base only.
H x 8cm highest point.
375 ml capacity.
Condition:
Some vintage-related ‘rough’ spots x2 on the top rim and slight wear to the gold trim on the handle (please refer to photos).
Otherwise, in excellent vintage condition.
There are no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing or wear to the pattern. The inside of the jug has no stains.
Item has been well researched for accuracy.
